Janet M. Kinsley

NEWTON - Janet M. Kinsley (Mahon), 86 years old, died after a brief illness at Barn Hill Care Center, Newton, Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019. Born to Edward and Julia Mahon in Paterson, she had lived in Lyndhurst before moving to Franklin in 1997.

Janet was a registered nurse by trade and dedicated most of her life to being a doting wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her grandchildren dearly and always looked forward to spending time with them.

Janet was predeceased by her husband, Charles Kinsley; a daughter, Carol Durantino; and two brothers, Edward and John Mahon; and was the devoted mother of Marie Gervasio and her husband, Sal, of Haledon, Christine Mara and her husband, Bob, of Stockholm, and Julie Jahnke and her husband, Tom, of Stockholm; and the loving grandmother of Christopher, Connor, Megan and Bobby.

The family will receive their friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St., Franklin. Funeral from the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Franklin. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
