John LeVan Obituary



LeVAN

John R. LeVan, 84, of Florence, KY entered into eternal rest July 29, 2015. He was a retired Electrical Engineer with Teledyne Precision; a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, Union, KY; Lions Club; and was a U.S. Navy Veteran, stationed on the submarine tender USS Gilmore. He is survived by his Wife of 62 Years Joyce Beasley LeVan, 5 Children Rebecca (Thomas) Niehoff, Lori (James) Rosenberger, Gregory (Kay) LeVan, Amy LeVan, Julie (Mark) Smith, and 3 Grandchildren Ryan, Halona, and Leilani LeVan. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM, Monday, August 3 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 10272 U.S. 42, Union, KY 41091. Visitation will begin at 9 AM. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum, Erlanger, KY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Class of 1949 Scholarship Fund at Covington Catholic High School, 1600 Dixie Highway, Park Hills, KY 41011 or to the charity of your choice.
