Florence Farmer Obituary

Florence Stoltz Farmer "Sis" passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2015 at the age of 92 years. She was born on October 3, 1922 in New Orleans, LA. Beloved wife of the late Wesley Delbert Farmer, Sr. Loving mother Wesley "Buddy" Farmer, Jr. (Terrilyn Conway), Terry Farmer, Sr. (Geral Angelette), Caren F. Boudreaux (Ernie Boudreax), Linda F. Francis (Henry Francis, Jr.). Grandmother of Tammi (Bobby), Terry "T. J.", Jr. (Tiffany), Lucas (Samantha), Christy (Ryan), Jill (Mike), Jeffrey, Kevin (Charly), and Stephen. Great-grandmother of Robbie, Ryan, Trey, Madison, Chloe, Cooper, Charles and Owen. Daughter of the late Albert Stoltz and Lena Geissler Stoltz. Sister of Herbert Stoltz, Lillian Stoltz Cantu and the late Albert, Jr., David and William Stoltz and Marcella Stoltz Kern and Augustine (Baby) Farmer. Florence was devoted to her loved ones. She enjoyed cooking her Saturday night special burgers and fries and her wonderful Sunday dinners for all of her family and pets. She loved working in the garden and growing flowers. She also liked shopping, Mardi Gras parades, playing cards and enjoying a glass of wine while watching her soaps. She will be missed dearly. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service in Carriere, MS on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 12:00 PM to celebrate her life. Florence was a very special person and there are no words to describe how special she was. This Mom was more than a Mother-In-Law to me leaving behind many memories and the true value of Family, the Love for people and so much more. She will be missed but never forgotten.
