Thank you Frank for the most wonderful 4 months of my life. I have never loved or been loved so much.
So many plans we made and will never get to do. I was so looking forward to meeting your family in Germany, introducing you to mine.
Seeing your place in MS, running around on your boat, going to movies. Thanks for teaching and studying German with me. I miss our time together and all the phone calls. I still have 22 missed ones I can listen to. It helps.
Never had a man to shop for me. Never even knew a man who willingly went to the mall by himself! You had excellent taste of course. No surprise there!
You smiled a lot but getting you to laugh was a challenge. Those moments made my day!
Don't think I said Love you enough.
Love how much you loved your friends and family. Such a precious soul. They will miss you so much!
Every day I Thank God for sharing you with me.
I miss you my very heart ❤
Charlotte

My Opa was the best grandfather a girl could hope for. He was always up for anything I, or my family, wanted to do; Monopoly game nights, relaxing in the pool, kayaking at the beach, a movie, a trip to the zoo...anything! Opa was fun and so kind to everyone around him, and he cared deeply about his family and friends. Last year I brought a friend to New Orleans with me, and my family, and she got to meet Opa. He welcomed her with open arms as if she, too, was a member of the family. While shelling crawfish in his kitchen one night, Opa showed me and Jordan how to get the smell of crawfish off our hands by rubbing crushed crackers between them. Who would've thought?! Opa was full of wisdom and practical advice. So many times throughout the years, I heard Opa’s voice from the phone, as he talked my dad through DIY projects. I will miss the sound of his voice and the messages that he would leave on my phone that always began with, “Hey! It’s Opa, here.” And I will always cherish the moments I had with Opa, especially those weekly phone calls.
