Kenneth LaCoste Obituary

Kenneth LaCoste was born February 17, 1976 to the parents of Kenneth Mutin and Paulette LaCoste Felton. Stepson of Shirley Mutin. The third of eight siblings, Kenneth was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA ,was baptized at an early age and departed this earthly life on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the age of 42. Kenneth was united in marriage to Satonia Brooks LaCoste. He has three sons and three daughters, Lil Kenneth, Kendrick and Kiara LaCoste, Kendrell Jupiter, Kilil Desilva and Treshon Williams; four stepchildren, Dejean, Terrianna and Terrianca Brooks and O'Hana Robin. Kenneth attended Sarah T. Reed High School. He was an employee of Mike Anderson s Seafood Grill &Bar and Cox Cable. He was a good man, was well loved and his generosity was open to many that called on him in their time of need. He loved his family and friends. Kenneth also leaves to cherish precious memories his grandmother, Victoria A. Mutin;two sisters, Kendrell LaCoste (Bobby) Sanders and Kennitra Mutin; five brothers, Claude Felton, Jr., Alexis Felton, Teddy R. Magee and Charles E. LaCoste; three stepsisters, two stepbrothers; Godmother, Diana LaCoste; mother in law, Sandra Virgil, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Kenneth was preceded in death by grandparents, Philip and Jean LaCoste Falls and Lester Mutin, Sr.; brother, Kendol Mutin; stepson, Joshua Brooks; five uncles, Philip LaCoste, Albert LaCoste, Adam Broussard, Lester Mutin, Jr. and David Mutin; father in law, Roderick Brooks. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10 AM, Pastor Larry Keith Poole Sr., Officiating. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 9 AM IN THE CHAPEL. Charbonnet Labat Glapion, Directors (504) 581-4411. Please sign guest book at charbonnetfuneralhome.com.
