Willie Alma Banks, age 80, was born on February 10, 1943 in St. Francisville, LA departed this earthly home on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Willie was the beloved husband of Ronald B. Jones. Loving mother of Nancy Harris, Charles Lee, Patricia Banks, Barbara Lee and Rhonda Lee. She was also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Harris, Sr. and Christine Harris; her children, Herbert, Demetrius, Ernest, and Ronald Lee; her siblings Eve Galvin and Walter Harris, Jr; and her granddaughter Nicole Lee. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70113 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Interment: Resthaven Memorial Park, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA 70127.
