Jack Fields

Jack Edward Fields age 75, passed away November 8, 2021 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha. Jack was born in Council Bluffs on November 1, 1946 to the late Ola and Dorothy (Livengood) Fields and attended Abraham Lincoln High School. Jack proudly served his country from 1965-69 in the US Navy and upon returning home began his career at the US Postal Service. He was united in marriage to Linda Huff and spent over 50 years together. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Ola and Dorothy. He leaves behind his wife Linda, daughters Jackie Greguska and husband John of Elkhorn, NE; Angela Thoms, Council Bluffs, granddaughter Macey Wehrle and husband Kendall, Omaha, sister Kathy Doebelin, brothers Gary and wife Jolene, Dennie and wife Sandy, nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services Saturday 10 a.m., all at funeral home. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery with military rites by the Kanesville Riders Honor Guard.
