Elizabeth Kolodynski Obituary

KOLODYNSKI Elizabeth "Betty" on March 10, 2009, was born to Andrew Sima and Anna Gmitra in Mahwah, New Jersey. She married Stanley Kolodynski in Holy Spirit Church, Mahwah, and was wed for 45 years before being predeceased. She worked all of her life in the surrounding NY/NJ area as a seamstress until her retirement. Elizabeth moved to Skowhegan, Maine in December 1996. Elizabeth's favorite hobby was going out to dinner with family. Mrs. Kolodynski was still mowing her lawn on her riding mower. She was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahwah, New Jersey and a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Skowhegan, Maine. Her surviving family members are, nephew Charles P. Paddock and wife Ramona, niece and goddaughter Jeanette H. Paddock, niece Marilyn Ann Paddock, nephew Jim Kostecky, brother-in-law Emil Kostecky, great nieces Julie Pedro, Brigette Gallagher and Tim, Scarlett Deshong and Tim, great great nephews Roman and Wyatt Deshong, Gabriel Gallagher and great great niece Riley Gallagher. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 10 AM at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahwah. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church, Island Road at Church Street, P.O. Box 825, Mahwah, New Jersey 07430. May eternal light shine upon Elizabeth.
