I remember Father Frank during my years of grammar school at Sacred Heart in Clifton. I graduated from there in 1969. He was always so very nice and kind. I visited him a few years ago at Saint Brendan's Church in Clifton in relation to a 40th year reunion of my graduating grammar school class. After 40 years, he did not lose any of his kindness and concern for the well being of other people, often asking about the lives of so many students. One of my fondest memories of Father Frank was when I was an altar boy. After a mass was finished, he would bless the altar boys in the sacristy. As the altar boys were kneeling down, he would make the sign of the cross over us, then lightly slap us on the face. He is one of the nicest persons I have ever known and he will be missed greatly.

"Frankie" was from my old neighborhood in Paterson, where we all grew up. I remember him during his seminary days when he was at Blessed Sacrament church. That was where he celebrated his first mass after being ordained. I will never forget seeing his most unusual chalice. He was truly a nice guy and I will always remember him for his beautiful smile. I am sad that he passed away and will always remember him. Rest in peace, Frankie!
