Henry ABRAMOWITZ Obituary

ABRAMOWITZ Henry, 83, of Clifton, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009. Born in Passaic, he lived in Clifton for his adult life. A parishioner of St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton, Henry was a sheet metal worker for Falstrom Co., Passaic, until his retirement in 1988. Henry served in Germany with the US Army in an Armored Infantry Battalion during WW II. An avid bowler since the age of 14, he was on many bowling leagues over the years, most recently at Wallington Lanes. Henry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian (Prehart), and his loving daughter Janis Zapotosky and her husband Robert. He was predeceased by his parents, Antoinette and Adam, his baby brother Stanley, and his brother Walter and sister-in-law Stella. Funeral arrangements are private under the direction of the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. www.shookfh .com.
