Irene Hagens Obituary
Irene Lilllan (nee Bulson), 78, of Moonachie on March 20, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Crine (2008) Loving mother to Janet Jones of Wanaque, NJ, Linda Hagens of Redondo Beach, CA and Larry Hagens of New Milford, NJ. Caring Grandmother to Cheryl , Justin Jones, Jennifer (Carlos) Cuba. Nicholas, Zachary, Julia Hayer and Laura, Matthew, Sara Hagens. Great-grandmother of Hektor Cuba. Dear Sister of William (Geri) of Callal, VA, Theodore (Charlotte) of Las Vegas, NV, and Raymond. and the late Elizabeth Iacovelli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Irene was the secretary for the Building Dept. of the Moonachie Municipal Building, also worked at PNY in Moonachie and was employed by Galvanic Printing in Moonachie. Irene was a member of the Moonachie Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary, Red Hat Society, Ladies Aid, Member of The First Presbyterian Church of Moonachie where she served on various committees and ran the flea market for many years. Long time member of the choir. Senior Citizens of Moonachie. She was also a Girl Scout leader for many years. Irene loved going on trips with the senior citizens, playing Bingo and Boating. Her other loves were the NY Yankees, Giants, and Nascar #3 and #88. Funeral service Thursday 10:30 AM at Kohler Funeral Home, 280 Hackensack St. Wood-Ridge. Interment Crest Haven Memorial Park. Visiting Tuesday 7-9 and Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM.

Awe Ms Janet I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was a sweet lady. I remember when we went to the Y-107 country concert we had lawn seats and bc of your moms idea to put bumper stickers on our bodies ( hahahahahahahahah) we got upgraded to the 5th row. That was awesome. She is another Angel now to watch over you, her family and loved ones. RIP
