Marilyn Scully Obituary
Marilyn (nee Buchanan), age 78, of Ridgefield Park, originally of Englewood, passed away on Tuesday September 2, 2014. Marilyn was a long time parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, a member of the Ridgefield Park Seniors and a lifetime NY Giants fan and Yankee hater. She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 48 years, Edward W. Scully, Loving mother to Patricia Barton and her husband Al, Mary Beth Daniels and her husband Marc, Cynthia Cahn and her husband Michael, and Nancy Sytsma and her husband Garry. Cherished grandmother to Lyndsee, Jamie, Matthew, Meagan, Darrian, Kelsey, Timothy, Roy, Jessica, Garret, Kailyn, Alycia and Robert and four great-grandchildren. Marilyn was predeceased by her Brothers J. Richard and Stanley Buchanan. Devoted sister-in-law to Kathleen Buchanan. Marilyn will be greatly missed by her longtime friends and companions Peggy and Ethel. Funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park Friday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis R.C. Church at 10 AM. The family will welcome friends on Thursday, 4-9 PM. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Vorheesingwersen.com
