Oradell, NJ - Mark Edward Dance, Jr., 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at his home in Oradell where he lived for 44 years. Mark was born in Teaneck, NJ to Mark Edward Dance and Elva Elizabeth Thomas and grew up in Hackensack. He graduated from Hackensack High School and Pennsylvania State University and attended NYU Graduate School. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Dee), nee Koster, his daughter Suzanne Koster Dance and her husband, Andrew Burris Obin, and their son, Henry Joseph Obin; and his son, Stephen Edward Henry Dance, and his wife, Ilaria Fleischer Dance, and their twin sons Lorenzo Ari and Edward Henry. He also leaves behind his sister, Nancy Dance Clark, of McGregor, TX. Mark was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood, NJ where he taught Sunday school for over 30 years and was an Elder of the Church. For 12 years he served on the Oradell Board of Education. Mark was a charter member of the Oradell-Emerson Rotary and a supporter of the Oradell Chamber of Commerce. He spent many years working in the textile industry in NYC and following that he founded Mark Limousine. Rather than retiring, he continued his professional career as an insurance agent. The family will receive visitors at Volk Leber Funeral Home 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell from 4:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, November 27nd. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 28th at 11:00am, First Presbyterian Church, 722 East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood.
