Petar, age 71, of Cliffside Park, NJ on January 24, 2014. Beloved husband of Mirijana (Pantalon). Devoted Father of Christian Fatovic and Sandra Aguado (David). Dear brother of Danica Svorinic. Loving Grandfather of Peter and Ryan Fatovic and Sara Aguado.
Petar was born in Sestrunj, Croatia and came to the US in 1975 and has lived in Cliffside Park since 1979. He worked as a Mechanic for APA Trucking Transportation in North Bergen.
Visiting Hours on Sunday, January, 26, 2014 at Konopka Funeral Home, 9046 Palisade Avenue, North Bergen from 3-7 PM. Funeral Mass at 10 AM on Monday, January 27, 2014 at Church of the Epiphany, Cliffside Park. Interment St Peter's Cemetery, Sestrunj, Croatia.

Dear Sandra,
I can't begin to express our deepest condolences for the passing of your dad. We mourn not for him but for us who have lost him. Take solace in knowing that your loss, no matter how difficult it is, is Heaven's gain. An angel came and took him by his hand to a place where there is no more suffering, no more pain. Heaven was waiting for him and it is where he needed to go. His work on Earth was done but in Heaven, it is just beginning. Pere's accomplishments are obvious to everyone and are mirrored in those he left behind. So do not weep for him because he is happy and looking down on his family with loving pride.
