DEAR JOHN, KAREN, JUDY, PENNY, KEITH AND MOST OF ALL MARY, I SEND MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY. I REMEMBER JOHN AS HE UMPIRED ALL THOSE YEARS AND BEING FAVORED AMONG MANY. HE WAS DEDICATED NOT ONLY TO HIS COUNTRY, BUT TO HIS FAMILY AND HIS FAITH AS WELL. IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE KNOWN HIM.
