Selig Schwitzer Obituary
PEMBROKE PINES FL - Selig Schwitzer, 96, of South Canterbury Road, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at his home in Century Village, Pembroke Pines, Florida. He was born August 6, 1922 in Dzialoszyce, Poland, the son of the late Joel and Esther Malka (Brogez) Schwitzer. He married Tema Jablon in the summer of 1947 in Poking, Germany. She passed away January 22, 2014.
He is survived by his children, Esta Garfunkel of Hallandale Beach, FL, David Schwitzer and wife Sylvia, of Old Westbury, NY, Joel Schwitzer and wife Sarah, of Westhampton, NY, grandchildren Jennifer Franco, Sylvan Garfunkel, Eric Schwitzer, Jessica Fox, Jordan Schwitzer, Alexandra Schwitzer and Michael Schwitzer, great-grandchildren Victor Franco, Alice Franco, Liam Schwitzer, Elle Schwitzer, Brayden Fox and Mark Garfunkel, and by his nephews Joel, Nathan and Will Schwitzer.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Salem Street, Norwich, CT at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Brothers of Joseph Cemetery in Preston, CT. The Church and Allen Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
