Wayne and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I enjoyed spending time at the Tavern with Doris, Wayne, Kathy, and of course, Teri. My friends from the Telegraph and I spent many "last calls" with Doris and even shared time at Perkins sometimes. She always referred to us as her "kids" and made us feel that we were part of her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

I have so many fond memories of my cousin Doris, paper dolls, hope chests, trips down the alley, movies and shelling beans from papa's garden. I send my thoughts and prayers to Wayne and family.

I'm so sorry to hear about Aunt Doris. She was always so kind to me and made me feel welcome whenever we visted. She had a great sense of humor and a joy of life that made a visit to her home an experience that I always looked forward to. The world is a little bit smaller for her loss. My thoughts are with you at this time.
