Benjamin F. Richardson Jr. "Frankie" age 60, of Fort Walton Beach, FL; passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was born on May 2, 1957, in Tuscaloosa, AL to Benjamin F. Sr. and Patricia Richardson. Benjamin was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Benjamin was raised in Fort Walton Beach and was a graduate of Choctawhatchee High School. He was a construction worker by trait and had worked in various constructions sites across the country. Benjamin especially loved sports and was an avid fan of Alabama. He also enjoyed fishing and golf. Having a special love of animals he had a special attachment to his bird he called "Tweeter". He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin F. Richardson Sr. and brother, Michael B. Richardson. Survivors include his loving mother, Patricia Richardson; aunt, Emily (Tom) White of Tuscaloosa, AL; step mother, Elna Clark also of Tuscaloosa, AL; numerous other loved aunts and uncles in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Arkansas.
The family will receive friends at a gathering on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10:00AM at McLaughlin Mortuary, 17 Chestnut Avenue SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL. A celebration of life service will follow at 11:00AM with Father Paul Moody officiating. Burial will be at Beal Memorial Cemetery, 316 NW Beal Pkwy, Fort Walton Beach, FL.
