Bob Colwell Obituary
Bob served the country he loved faithfully, first in the Army, then in the United States Air Force. He retired in 1989, as a chief master sergeant. After retirement, Bob continued his career by teaching electronics at Bay Area VoTech until he finally retired in 1999.
Bob was an avid fisherman who loved to garden, play with his dog, Kaylee, and spend time with his family. Always ready with a funny quip, Bob was considered a trusted friend, and a loving father, papa, and brother.
He is survived by his children, Debby Stotler (Brian), of Middleburg, Fla., and Connie Petersen (Ken), of Medina, Ohio; six grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters.
A memorial service and military honors will be performed to honor Bob on Monday, March 30, 2015, at 11:45 a.m., at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla. Arrangements by Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL. Please post words of comfort at www.hardage-giddensrivermead.com.
