Timothy Champagne Obituary
He was born and raised in Lake Charles, La., where he attended Alfred M. Barbe High School. He moved to the Florida area in 1998. Tim was Project Manager for Breaux Construction of Santa Rosa Beach until October of this year, using his knowledge and passion for building to make dream homes a reality for many. He loved the beach and always looked forward to visits from family and friends. He leaves us with many treasured memories to cherish. He was 46 years old.
Tim is survived by one daughter, Erin Champagne of Lake Charles; his mother and stepfather, Lillian and Joe Rachal of Lake Charles; one brother, Joey Champagne and wife Regina of Panama City Beach, Fla.; four sisters, Lynn Cole and husband Wayne of Carriere, Miss., Terri Self of Lake Charles, Susan LeBlanc and husband David of Baton Rouge, La., and Stephanie Noe of Lake Charles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Jeremy Self, Jessica Self, Zeke Champagne, Kaleb Champagne, Hannah Dunston, and Sean and Cole LeBlanc.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Julius (JuJu) Champagne; maternal grandparents, Wallace and Addie Lee; and paternal grandparents, Harry and Levie Champagne.
Arrangements for cremation will be under the direction of Davis Watkins Funeral Home of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. There will be a me-morial service on Thursday, Dec. 20, at 1:30 p.m. at Grayton Beach State Park Pavilion, followed by a gathering of friends and family at his residence at 259 Morrison Ave., Santa Rosa Beach.

Tim was an all around great person. He was a great craftsman and always looked for a solution before he declared anything a problem. I am better for having known him and am honored to have worked with him. He will be missed and will be remembered.
