Linda B. Graham, age 72, of McHenry, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Linda was born September 7, 1948, the daughter of Joseph and Anita (Berg) Graham and stepmother, Harriett (Morris) Graham. For over 30 years, she worked as a receptionist in Dr. Albanese's office and really enjoyed her relationship with the patients.
Linda was a devoted Christian who adored her daughters and grandchildren. She was always caring and giving and will be sorely missed by her daughters: Julie (Chris) Chapman and Jodi (Nicki) Johnson; grandchildren: Kyle, Brennon, Shane, Evan, Ben, Andrew, and Leah; brother, Joseph Graham; and niece & nephew: Mary and Michael. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Graham.
A Memorial Visitation for Linda will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021, from 4-7 P.M., at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 P.M., in the Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to consider a donation to Race to Erase MS, or any MS non-profit organization.
In following with the CDC Covid 19 recommendations and the Illinois mandates, 50 people will be allowed within the funeral home facilities at a single time and all attendees must wear a face mask or covering while in the funeral home.

Linda and I spent a lot of time together when we were growing up. Our parents were close friends, her step-mother was my godmother. We had numerous sleep-overs and adventures together - especially in Albuquerque. We lost touch for a few years, but when we reconnected, it was like old times. Linda was a loving caring person. When she talked about her daughters and grandchildren, she glowed. They were her true loves. I will miss her presence in my life but I will always hold her in my heart. She was truly one of the good ones!

My parents, family and I were patients of Dr. John's. Linda, as you know, spent many years as receptionist there. Unlike today, if you needed an appointment, prescription or just get a question answered you were able to speak to Linda right away, the human touch that has disappeared in these days.

Linda was witness to the trials and tribulations of my family through the good times and the bad until Dr. John retired. She was a welcoming voice you first saw entering the office, a friendly face, and an empathetic shoulder to lean on. You were one of best of us Linda.

We are so very sorry to here of Linda's passing. We were patients of Dr. Albanese for many years, as were our children, and it was always a pleasure being greeted by Linda at the office. She was so personable and caring. Her laugh and smile and sense of humor made you feel so good no matter how bad your day was going. She always took an interest in the personal lives of her patients and remembered you by name. We were truly blessed to have known Linda. Please accept our sincerest sympathy. God bless you.

My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Linda. She was the voice of Dr. Albanese's office for the entire growth of my young family years ago. She had a brilliant memory when it came to all things with my familys health. She even remembered which pharmacy we used to call in our prescriptions. She made the office a friendly and familiar place to come into and always had a casual and relaxing manner to put people at ease. I NEVER had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen at the office which reflected directly on Linda as the office manager. She had a quick wit and great sense of humor. It is a bygone era that Linda was proudly a part of. I'm sure her quips will be missed dearly by all close to her.
