Today marks a decade since you passed away. Our grief still exists but is not as raw and painful as it was on this day ten years ago. The loss never disappears and there are no timelines as to how long anyone grieves. The loss doesn’t consume us anymore but it still exists. We will always love and miss you. Until we meet again.

Just learned of Mike's passing, and of course just don't know what to say. I worked with Mike for many years in the pits and admired him greatly. He was an honest, proud, family man, and I'll miss him. My prayers are with you.

To Mike's family and close friends,

I didn't know Mike real well, but we worked in close proximity on the trading floor and I also worked with his brother-in-law, John Murray.

Mike was such an easy-going, fun-loving guy. It's so hard to believe what happened. I'll always remember him as someone with a joke and a ready smile.

The world will miss him.

To Liz and the Lee Family,
Though many years have passed, your loss is very personally felt. Michael was fun to be around and we shared a number of good times together. But most of all, I remember Michael as a genuinely nice guy - a good person. He went on to undertake raising two beautiful daughters. I trust these attributes will be very much in his favor as he now meets God. My sincerest sympathies and prayers to all of you.

Dear Liz,

You and the girls have our deepest sympathy. We lost a friend, however, you lost your husband (and your best friend) and the girls lost a wonderful Dad. Your loss is truly heartbreaking and we can only imagine what you are going through. It is hard to make any sense of it all, however, the only advice we can give is to remember Michael for the wonderful husband, dad and overall good person that he was. Our prayers and thoughts are with you, Maggie, Christy and Michael.

Dear Vi, Linda and Laura -

There is nothing so heartbreaking as the lost of a loved one. Especially the loss of a child. Even though Mike was an adult, I know he was still your baby boy, Vi....and a kid brother to Linda and Laura. Wishing you all find the strength of get through these next few days and the days to follow. You and your families are in our prayers.

Love,

Karen and Tom

To Michael:
A true friend is one who knows all about you and likes you anyway, Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. I will not forget you. So for now, my memories will have to do because you and I will meet again, when we're least expecting it, One day in some far off place, I will recognize your face, I won't say goodbye my friend, For you and I will meet again.
I love you and miss you,
Thank you for all the great memories.
