I knew Timmy through my father, Bob Meidel. Timmy was a great friend to my father for a lot of years. I know that Timmy will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family,

A victim of throat cancer, Tim tried long and hard to convince young people of the evils of smoking cigarettes. For his effort, I'm sure he will be rewarded in Heaven. RIP, Tim.

It was with deepest sorrow that we viewed Tim's obit in the morning Post Tribune. Tim was a true and loyal East Sider and Emersonian. We missed Tim's smiling face two weeks ago at the annual Club Deb banquet, but we certainly did not realize that Tim was ill. We pray for Tim and may he rest in peace.
