Candelaria Family, I knew your mother and the Soto family many years ago. The last time I saw Vicki was about 53 years ago. She was a kind and gentle person. Vicki will be greatly missed by everyone. I am thousands of miles away and I feel the sorrow deep in my heart. God Bless your family.

My condolences to you on your loss. We have lost a true leader and champion for teacher and student's rights. She was truly a role model for Hispanics and all other ethnic people. Her leadership and courage, to stand up for what she truly believed in, will be sorely missed. I pray for God to give you added strength and grace through your time of sorrow. She was definitely a unique woman.

Your mom was a wonderful person and I remember all of the culture days she had when I was in Washington High School, she was my Spanish teacher in 1984. My prayers are with you and your family.
