ANDREW HEINE Obituary

HEINE--Andrew Noah,

of Bedford Corners, New York, passed away, peacefully, at his home on February 26th, following a lengthy illness. He was 87 years of age. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Randi; two daughters, Priscilla and Nancy; three sons, Jake, Adam, and Jonathan; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Andrew was born in Camden, New Jersey, to the late Miriam and Aaron Heine. He attended The Haverford School, Amherst College, and The Yale School of Law. Possessing a brilliant mind and wit, Andrew cut a wide swath in life. He was both an extremely prominent corporate attorney and highly successful private investor. Dapper and elegant, he enjoyed life to the fullest, especially with his family. An excellent athlete, he enjoyed his weekly tennis games, jumping his horses, and skiing, annually, in his beloved Sun Valley, Idaho. He was, also, an avid outdoorsman, traveling to various shooting expeditions around the world. The twinkle in those very blue eyes and his love of martinis will stay with those who knew him, forever. He will be so missed. A celebration of his life will take place in New York, at a future date.

Shock and sadness; those were my immediate emotions on learning of Andy's passing.

A gentleman among gentlemen he will be sorely missed. I learned things from him that have served me well over the decades since we first met.

Sincerest condolences to Randi and the entire Heine clan. I suspect Andy would have wanted you all to focus on the myriad good things in his and your lives rather than the loss. And that's the way it should be.
