Charlotte Parkinson Obituary

PARKINSON--Charlotte. The International Council of The Museum of Modern Art mourn the passing of Charlotte Parkinson. With her late husband, John, Charlotte was at the very center of the Council for 41 years, and was involved with The Museum of Modern Art for even longer. She also had a career as a social worker, with clinical, administrative, research, and social policy experience. We will all remember with great fondness her traveling with us, her warm presence during our meetings, and sincere interest in the Council's activities. She was wise, brave, and kind and her enthusiasm for the arts, especially photography, will be sorely missed. We extend our sympathies to her children, Elizabeth, John and Allston, and all the members of the Parkinson family.
