Joan,
I have not seen you or your family in far, far too many years. I have never forgotten Donald. He was my date at my Sweet 16 party of which I still have have our picture and his gift to me. He was the best dancer at Teanceck High School! I am so sorry that we lost touch with each other. If you ever have a spare minute or two, I' love to meet with you.

It was my great pleasure to have had Professor Magnetti for both Torts in first year at Fordham Law as well as for Trusts and Estates in third year. I will remember always the knowldge and enjoyment he brought to both those courses, not easy to do by any means. He made being a student of the law fun. He was a gentleman and a gentle man and he will be missed by me and the other members of my family who were his students and colleagues.

Recently, Rev. Magnetti provided superb and invaluable advice to the Executor of my father's estate. My brothers and I are eternally grateful for that. We're saddened by the news of his passing, and will pray for him and his beloved sister.

Prof. Magnetti was my Torts professor back in 1999-2000, and my Trusts professor in 2002. He was an excellent teacher, with an encyclopedic grasp of the course materials. He also had a very good sense of humor and an engaging way of interacting with his students. I am deeply sorry to hear of his passing.

Joan,
I am so glad that my parents met Donald and you a cruise years ago. They had the utmost respect for your brother; I know when my dad faced his medical challenges, Donald was great support for my father and my mother. I could never thank him enough for that. They enjoyed the postcards from 'round the world that he sent..and they would send in return. I enjoyed our Saturday night dinners in Santa Fe during Indian Market and helping with the summer vacation planning. Joan, you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time.

Dear Joan,

My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. I don't often regret moving to Colorado, but I do wish I were still in Scarsdale so I could join you at Mass. Please be assured that I will remember you and your brother Donald at Mass on Ash Wednesday.

God bless!

Corky
