HENRY STEINER Obituary

STEINER--Henry, M.D. The Medical Staff of Maimonides Medical Center is deeply saddened by the sudden death of Dr. Henry Steiner. Dr. Steiner was a vascular surgeon, par excellence. He was at Maimonides Medical Center for almost 40 years, beginning with his training. He was chief resident of Surgery in 1979-1980. He always had a smile for all he came in contact with. He will be sorely missed by all his colleagues, friends and patients. Sincere condolences are extended to his entire family. Dr. Steiner always had a smile and a kind word. At Peninsula Hospital he was always in cat scan checking on his patients exams and results. Doctors like him are few and far between, a credit to his profession.

Dr. Steiner always had a smile and a kind word. If I was behind him in line for the cafeteria, he would pay for my tea or soda. Just a nice man. Very sad to hear of his passing.
