So sorry to hear of Leo's passing. John and I cherish the memory of our visit with you in Becket, as well as our marathon swim across the lake, with Leo well in the lead! I always loved talking with Leo at work and hearing a mini-review of his latest play, and his story of the one time he had to review a ballet tickled me no end..."first he ran upstage to the corner and jumped up in the air..." He was a kind, funny and perspicacious soul. Sending love and deepest sympathy to you, Adrea, and to your family.

It was always a pleasure to see Leo, when he was in town and picked up the Sunday newspapers. It was been a number of years, but I will always remember him. Thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I had no idea when I saw you all at services that you had lost Leo so recently. Such a person, a kind soul that I will miss seeing. My heart goes out to your whole family.

The members of the Liars poker group of writers in Sarasota, FL, will miss Leo badly. His often self-deprecating sense of humor will be particularly missed. We expected him to walk in the door any Friday now, as he has for many falls. The news of his passing was greeted with shock and sadness -- something Leo would not have endorsed. We loved the guy; we wish his family well.

I have fond memories of gatherings over the years at Leo and Adrea's home in Huntington as well as in Becket. He was a generous, considerate host, and along with pleasant fun filled times we had many a thoughtful conversation. Much sympathy to you, Adrea. I am thinking of you. The years are passing quickly now, and there are not many of us left.
