The metropolitan Opera Association mourns the passing of Sunny von Bulow, a generous friend and benefactor of the Metropolitan Opera whom we remember with deep gratitude. We are thankful as well for her family's gift through the Annie-Laurie Aitken Cheritable Lead Trust established by her mother, which helped underwrite nine opera productions at the Met. We extend our sincere condolences to her children, Annie-Laurie von Auersperg Isham, Alexander-Georg Prinz von Auersperg, and Countess Cosima von Bulow Pavoncelli, and to other members of her family.
