NEIL EKBLOM

EKBLOM--Neil Harkin, Sr., Esq., age 62, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in West Islip, NY, grew up in London, UK and was a longtime resident of Ridgewood, NJ. Neil was the Founding Partner of the law firm, Ekblom & Partners, LLP based in New York, NY with offices in New Jersey and Florida. Neil had a decorated career as a defense and corporate counsel representing healthcare professionals and business executives. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, later graduating to private practice where he was an Equity Partner in multiple AmLaw firms before starting his own practice. Neil was peer-rated as an AV Preeminent Attorney with the Highest Possible Rating in both Legal Ability & Ethical Standards by Martindale Hubble. Neil was a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall, Hobart College, and Georgetown University Law Center. Neil is survived by his loving wife, Frances Hanson Ekblom, and his adoring children, Neil Ekblom Jr. and Margaret Ekblom, all of whom miss him dearly.
