Dolores J. Rupani, 81, of Burgettstown, Jefferson Township, passed away Sunday morning, July 11, 2021, in The Washington Hospital.
She was born March 3, 1940, a daughter of the late Frances DeCook Thomas and Charles E. Thomas Sr.
A 1958 graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, she enjoyed gardening, cross stitching and birdwatching.
Her loving husband, John Rupani, who she married June 2, 1962, survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her two children, Damon Rupani and wife Lisa of Burgettstown and Michele Rupani of Burgettstown; her beloved granddaughter, Mia Rupani and partner Kattie Neesham of Colorado; a sister, Janet Thomas of Burgettstown; brothers, Jerry Thomas and wife Sharon of Bulger, Sam Thomas and wife Tweenie of Burgettstown and Dennis Thomas of Burgettstown; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her brother, Charles E. Thomas Jr.; a sister, Loretta Thomas; and sisters-in-law, Doris and Dottie Thomas.
To honor Mrs. Rupani's wishes, there will be no public visitation and a memorial service is being planned for a later date under the direction of the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, PA 15021. www.leeandmartinfuneral.com
