Linda Sue Rideout, 64, of Washington, died Saturday, January 12, 2019, in the emergency department of Washington Hospital.
She was born August 23, 1954, in Greene County, a daughter of James Olan Lee Phillips and the late Elva Huggins Phillips.
Mrs. Rideout graduated from Jefferson-Morgan High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to flea markets, collecting antiques, making crafts, playing cards and computer games, and spending time with her grandchildren.
On December 10, 1988, she married Gary A. Rideout, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Harvey "Skip" Shekerko (Tina), Heather R. Shekerko (fianc Chris), David J. Shekerko and Brenda S. Barnhart (Robert); two brothers; three sisters; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a granddaughter.
Private graveside services were held in Washington Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.

Mom, this your son David) there so I want say AND wish I said.,The one thing I will is thank you. For being my mother and loving. I times wasn't always easy but we got by and you did your best as a mother, friend and parent. I know gave you a Lot of gray hairs,but I know you would be there. So u keep watching over me and my big brother and sisters and ALL then grandbaby and gray and your family. And until time comes for meet you in heaven. Know that we ALL love you and miss mom) and mom, thank you, For your love. I will do my best to take care of family, sister, brother and gray down here.
