Mary Slimick Obituary
Mary A. Slimick, 95, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
Born June 19, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Lila and Peter Slimick.
She was a cherished sister to Ralph Slimick; dear aunt to John Slimick; and loving cousin to Julie (Jim) Baumburger.
Mary was a loving aunt to Karen Luther, Janet Collins, Doug Slimick, John Slimick, Tina Sohl and Donna Sohl, and dear friend to Cheryl and Sue.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Franklin and Peter Slimick Jr.
Mary loved her Lord and music, and animals were her passion. She played the piano whenever she could and was always singing. Mary was an avid reader, and she will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in Faith Chapel, 9 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, PA 15055. Internment will take place in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
