Patricia Ann Fabian, 81, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 3, 2024, in Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House with her family by her side after a five-year battle with multiple myeloma. She was born July 29, 1943, in Westland, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Foleno Catalano. Patricia was a 1961 graduate of Chartiers-Houston High School where she was a member of the marching band, playing the clarinet. Mrs. Fabian had worked at the former Vitro Manufacturing in Canonsburg. Patricia was a member of St. Patrick's Church of St. Oscar Romero Parish in Canonsburg. She was proud to live her life as a committed Christian, and even more so to live according to the canons of the Roman Catholic faith. Patricia's entire life was devoted to her whole family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was always heavily involved with their sports, activities, and milestones in their lives, even though her support was often behind the scenes, allowing everyone else to garner all the credit and accolades. She was the #1 Fan of the Lady Bucs Softball team's success for over 40 years. Patricia also loved being a homemaker, sewing, and cooking for everyone. Her homemade spaghetti sauce was considered the best of the family! She thoroughly enjoyed every second with her family and is the true meaning of a matriarch. On March 10, 1962, Patricia married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, the late Louis Richard Fabian who died July 29, 2010. Surviving are her three children, Tricia (Dan) Alderson of Houston, Karen Breese of Houston, and Richard Fabian of Canonsburg; her three grandchildren, Kaci Alderson, Kelli Alderson, and Devyn (Robert) Nestor; her two great-grandchildren, Pacey and Lennox Nestor; five nieces and nephews, Frank (Lilli) Catalano, Jr., Michael (Jamie) Catalano, Nicole Hale, Joanne (Ted) Hervol, and Diane (Tom) Hutchinson, along with many great nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to her husband and parents are two brothers, Frank, Sr. and Raymond Catalano; a sister, Rose Dusza; and a nephew, James Catalano. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial and Internment will be private. In her memory, the family asks for donations to Concordia Hospice of Washington Donnell House, 10 Leet St., Washington, PA 15301.
