Richard Ritenour, 64, of Ellsworth, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in the Washington Hospital.
He was born June 24, 1957, a son of the late James R. and Allie Mae Porterfield Ritenour.
For more than 40 years, Richard worked for the Asplundh Tree Service.
He was a member of the Lithuanian Club in Bentleyville, where he was currently serving as vice-president and was also a member of the Independent Club in Bentleyville.
Surviving are his wife, Rosemary Smalley Ritenour; children Richard Matthew Ritenour, Kristen Crable and Ryan Christopher Ritenour; grandchildren Alyssa, Elaina, Emilee and MacKenzie Ritenour, and Lukas Crable; siblings Patsy Shawley (Richard), Mary Ellen Thomas (John), Thomas Ritenour (Peggy), William Ritenour (Margie), James Ritenour (Mary), Bonnie Riley (William), Joseph Ritenour (Jackie), Debra Jenkins (Tom), Sally Jo Evans (George), Arlene Luketich (George) and Marlene Fereza (Frank); and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a grandson, Leevi Ritenour; sisters Dorothy Ament and Hazel Geary; and brothers Dennis and Danny Ritenour.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 17, in the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorials to the Ellsworth Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 512, Ellsworth, PA 15331.
