LIONEL G. "LENNY", 71
Ocala - Lionel G. "Lenny" Martin, 71, of Dunnellon passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Legacy House in Ocala.
Lionel Gary Martin was born in New York. Lenny was a resident of Florida, who owned and operated his businesses in various parts of the country. Later he established Lenny Martin Hay, a major feed store in Dunnellon, in the fall of 2001. He was a great man that served his country in the U.S. Army. He loved his family, friends and will be greatly missed.
Lenny is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Beatrice Martin; sons, Matt (Patricia) Martin, Mark (Carrie) Martin; daughters, Trish Martin (Robert Meshell), Mattie Martin; granddaughter Selena May Martin; grandson; Chase Lionel Martin.
He is preceded by his parents, Arthur Martin and Carmen Lisi.
A visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, FL. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the same facility. Memorial contributions may be made to Ocala Ritz Veterans Village, 111 NE 12th Ave, Ocala, FL 34470. Prayers to the Martin family for your loss. Lenny was a magnificent man and sure enjoyed conversation with him when I came and got my hay. Thank god for the special memories to help us through.

Lenny leaves behind a legacy of being a fair, hard working and funny guy. He will be so missed but he also has left behind a dynasty called the "Martin" children. They are are special people and shine as their father did. Lilly, our heart is with yours in all the remembrences of your 42 yrs. with Lenny.
