Carol Lentz Obituary
MOGADORE -- Carol B. Lentz, age 66, passed away on December 31, 2014.
Born in Richlands, Va., she lived in Mogadore most of her life. Carol was a member of Chapel of Prayer and Temple Baptist Church of Greensburg.
Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Delcie; and brother, Michael, Carol is survived by her husband, David E. Lentz; son, David E. (Denise) of Mogadore; daughters, Kimberly Lentz of Mogadore and Melissa (David) Digman of Mineral Ridge, Ohio; grandchildren, Dylan (Mallory) Digman, Chasity Digman, Abbie and Lydia Lentz; brothers, Andy (Cathy) Lane of Berlin Center and Bill (Jessie) Lane of Mogadore; sister, Tracey Lane; and lifelong friend, Kathy Lindsey-Carden.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Glenn Rogers Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Mogadore Fire & Rescue Squad, 135 S. Cleveland Avenue, Mogadore, OH 44260.

Carol was a very special Christian lady. We had a connection both as distant cousins and in our love of family history. We had a relationship through email only, but I dreamed of meeting her someday. I knew I would be met with warmth. I will miss our "talks" online. Rest now, dear lady. You deserve that rest and to be with the One who loves us all the very best!

Dear, sweet Carol. She had no idea how amazing she was. At some of her lowest points, she would be in the middle of a huge project for church or preparing to make lasting memories for her family at the holidays. She loved the Lord and worked tirelessly to show that. She talked about her very special love for Dave, and her heart overflowed with love and pride for her children and grandchildren, her siblings and their families. She prayed daily for their health and happiness. We had a special bond and I love her very much. I know I will see her again someday soon, but until then I will miss her - her laugh, her beautiful smile and the long hours we shared talking about old times and new times.....and sitting with two spoons and a half gallon of ice cream between us,trying to figure a way to solve the problems of the world. I will miss Carol beyond words. She and I had a special bond of encouragement for each other at times of deepest hurt and pain. We always knew where to turn for comfort and I will be lost for those words of support and comfort now that she is gone. She had a heart of compassion and a love for many, including her Savior which she is now basking in His glory. You will be missed, Carol. Your beauty was unsurpassed and the remembrance of your smile will bring me to tears, but I know the relief of your pain brings joy to the heart of your family and friends.
