Elizabeth Nervo Obituary
"Betty" Ann Nervo
Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Nervo passed away on August 10, 2017. She was born in Akron to the late Steve and Adella Nervo. Betty enjoyed family gatherings, flea markets, jewelry collecting and was a friend to all she met.
Preceded in death by siblings, John (Carmen), Pete (Rose), Steve (Teresa), Albert (Anna), Mary (Paul) Kedra, Angelo (Phyllis), Louis (Juanita), Joseph, Rudy (Nadine) and Nick (Sue); She is survived by her sister, Mildred "Millie, Del" Nervo; sister-in-law, Florence Nervo and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., Akron, Ohio 44304. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton Ave., Akron, Ohio 44312. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church or your favorite charity.

What wonderful memories I have of Betty! My favorite memory is of the two of us riding the bus downtown to O'Neill's and then stopping at Brownie's for lunch on the way home. She was a friend to all in the neighborhood.

When we moved here Betty was the first person to welcome us to the neighborhood, She was always a great friend and part of our family, she was our babysitter, "sister" and godmother to our son. She was a lot of fun and always happy. We loved her and will miss her.
