Eric Reppl Obituary
CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Eric Reppl, 29, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2014.
He grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and enjoyed scouts and playing soccer. He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and attended Stark State. He was a technician at Ron Marhofer Nissan for the past eight years. Eric had a passion for science and nature, and also loved hiking, camping and riding his motorcycle. His brother, Michael remembers him fondly as a great teacher and friend. Eric also loved animals, especially his two dogs, Chopper and Rocky. He was a kind, loving soul who put others first. Whether it was to loan a few dollars, offer a place to stay or help with a project, Eric was always there for friends and family. We will miss him more than words can ever say.
Eric was preceded in death his loving grandmother, Delores Harper and his dear uncle, Dale Harper. He is survived by his mother, Dawn Harper; father, Gunther Reppl; brother, Michael Reppl; grandfather, Denver Harper; grandparents, Tony and Erma Reppl; aunts, Tonia Harper and Ingrid Reppl; cousins, Jesse and David Harper; and many other relatives and friends.
A lakeside celebration of Eric's life will be held outdoors at a family friend's residence on Saturday, August 30 on Ira Road in Akron. Friends may meet at 4:30 p.m. at the First Merit Bank at 1946 N. Cleveland Massillon Rd., Akron, OH 44333, where they can be shuttled to the house. Casual attire is suggested. Please bring a blanket and/or chair. We encourage guests to share their memories and stories about Eric at that time.

Dang cuz, the years go by but the heart ache never subsides, neither does the memory of a great man that was lost too soon. I love and miss you cuz! But know one day we will all be together again showing Pops how to fish ;) and enjoying a grand dinner with all those we love!
You may no longer be here to hug, but we will always hold you in our hearts!!

The many memories that i hope people young and old and in between share w/his family. Eric honestly and freely gave hugs like no other man can give.
My consistent memory as I'm sure it will be in heaven is that he protected his mom. And..... his bedroom was a mess.
