Ida Mae Koehler

Ida Mae Koehler, 93, passed away Nov. 22 at Pleasant View Care Center in Barberton.

Born in Sa lem, Ohio, in 1911, Ida Mae grew up on a farm there, and was a mem ber of the Phillips Church of Christ. She had attended Kent State University.

Ida was preceded in death by her husband, Herman A., in 1977; son, Lawrence A.; broth ers, John and Ralph Hilliard; sister, Lucille Lucas; great- grandsons, Scott Koehler and Adam Burnett. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Herman "Joe" and Donna Ko ehler; daughter-in-law, Betty Koehler; grandchildren, Ron, Carl (Lori), Paul (Kathy), John (Jackie), Kevin (Mary Beth), Robert Thomas, and Sheryl Koehler, Jeanette (Andy) Burnett, Ann (Dave) Salvino, Teresa (James) Hunter, Joyce (Mark) Zellers, Angela (Mark W.) Wal lace, Kim (Jason) Rosenberger; 30 great-grandchildren. Ida's family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at pleasant View Nursing Home for all of their care, and to Fr. Paul J. Clines for his support.

Funeral services will begin Saturday, Nov. 27, at 9:30 a.m., at the Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Funeral Home, 95 W. Waterloo Rd., and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. to be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Inter ment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in Ida's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1815 W. Market St., Ak ron, Ohio 44313.
