James Carrington Obituary
James was born on January 21, 1953 in Oak Hill-Beckley, W. Va., to Leslie and Rachel Carrington, who preceded him in death. Jim was a carpenter, and had been retired for a number of years. He was a doting grandfather of 11.
Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy L.; daughters, Trisha R. (Danny) Lindsey, Amanda L. Carrington (Adrian Milbry); son, Jeremiah J. (Melissa) Carrington-Staff Sgt. Ret. U.S. Army; grandchildren, Cameron, Caleb, Kyle, Little Chevy, Lucas, Sydney, Kirsten, Taylor, Harleigh, Haylie and Bianca; six sisters, two brothers, and their families and friends also survive him.
A gathering of family and friends will be this evening, Friday, June 28th, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by a brief service from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Adams Mason Funeral Home, 791 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fisher House. (Adams Mason Funeral Home and Crematory, 330-535-9186)

To my Aunt Nancy, Amanda, Jay, and all the grandchidren. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! I will miss and never forget Uncle Jim and my memories of him. Anything you need! I love you all!!!

Today I have to say goodbye to my brother James. I think of all the great times we had growing up and the trouble you got us into. The most memorable was when you told us to sneak out the upstairs window so we could go roller skating with you. You were waiting with the car down the street. Polly and I did as you said and we went and had so much fun. When we returned home and tried to get back into the house there was no ladder!!! We had to go inside through the side door and dad was waiting. We found out many years later that Tammy had squealed on us. I'll never forget the wonderful memories that we shared. Rest in peace until we meet again. I'll love you always.
