I followed Al at the information desk at the Nature Realm and always got there early so Al and I could straighten up the world affairs. He was one of my all-time favorite people and I'll really miss him.

I was hoping it wasn't true, but when I heard John had passed, I thought I had the wrong person...But, when I saw it was Al, I was at a total shock... Just saw him Tuesday, and he had smiles..
Him and Pam, just lit up a room, I checked the building in the times that were asigned to me, and those two had everything running so well.
A smile and a nice hello, every Tuesday.
But they not only did the greeting, but they were the faces that made Metro Parks serving Summit County a place where people felt, Welcomed...
Ready to come back for another visit...
Al, made me feel so welcomed, in the building that I take care of, if he ever needed a thing I said to call.
But, what team work was there...
I'll miss his team, he sure was a player, and touched so many people, a gift from God.. Thanks for sharing him with us......
I'll miss him forever...
But the heart does go on, and I'll see him there no matter what...
My heart to you!
And a treasure, that came to me..
Thanks to Al, and all your family..
He did have that special touch..
Forever in my thoughts..

Prayers and shared sorrow go to Al's children and friends.
I will greatly miss Al every Tuesday at the Nature Realm of Metro Parks, Serving Summit County. He not only shared his good nature and insights, he knew what we were doing for programs and shared information he gathered. I am reading a book about Hobos that Al recently gave me, and I was so looking forward to talking to him about it when finished. Al liked that kind of conversation. Al's caught the 'Westbound' home. Safe Journey!

Al and I solved the problems of the world in 2-1/2 hours every Tuesday at the Nature Realm. He adored his family and was deservedly proud of all of their accomplishments and successes. He will be sorely missed.
