Lisa Fresh-Meech Obituary
Lisa Ann Fresh-Meech, 59, passed away January 5, 2015, after a short illness.
Lisa was born on October 4, 1955 and graduated from Copley High School in 1973. She was a longtime employee of the Ohio Liquor Commission, retiring after her marriage to Dean Meech in 1992.
Lisa's talents were many and varied, and the prodigious output from her tiny kitchen was most impressive. You knew you were special if you were the lucky recipient of a platter of her delicious Christmas cookies, a container of fresh, hand-picked blueberries, a jar of jam, pesto or salsa prepared with ingredients from her well-tended garden. Lisa was a kind and generous daughter, sister, wife, aunt and friend who could always be counted on when needed.
Lisa was preceded in death by life-long love and husband, Dean R., and brothers-in-law, Albert and Steve. Left to share her love and memory are parents, Norman and Rosemary Fresh; siblings, Norman (Darlene), Mark (Karen), Carla Paul (John), Michael (Diane), Lucinda Nagy, Claudia LaMancusa and Matthew (Denise); closest and dearest friend, Lori Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Jan. 11, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Road, Fairlawn, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 12, at 11 a.m. at St. Hilary's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Akron General (VNS) Hospice or St. Hilary Endowment Fund.
