Ralph Ratliff Obituary
Ralph Ratliff, 73, of Akron, died May 11, 2003.
A native of Greasy Creek, Ky., he had been an area resident for the past 51 years, having retired from McNeil Corp. in 1980 after 18 years service. He was a member of the Wintergreen Ledges Church of God.
Preceded in death by his son, Randy, one sister, and nine broth ers, Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Delora J.; sons, Rick of Akron and Rusty (Rosanne) of Manchester; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Beaver of Cuyahoga Falls, Mary Robinson of Greasy Creek, Ky., Ruby Scalf of Inez, Ky., and Sylvia Springston of Virginia; brothers, Hoover Ratliff of Wadsworth and Denver Ratliff of Akron.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, Kenmore Boulevard at Eighth Street. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Winter green Ledges Church of God, 1889 Wooster Ave., Akron, Ohio 44320, where the body will lie in state one hour before service time. Pastor Jim Roma will officiate. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park. For those who wish, memorial contribu tions may be made to the church. (Schlup-Pucak Funeral Home, Fam ily Owned, 330-745-3131.)
