Victor Morris Obituary
LANGSVILLE — Victor John Morris, Sr., 67, of Langsville, Ohio, passed away at the VA Hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born on May 8, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late William and Violet (Bodi) Morris. Victor was a proud United States Marine veteran, serving in Vietnam. Victor was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and farm.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Medsker) Morris; daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Hawkins; son, Colton John Morris; sister, Bonnie (Kevin) Christenson; six grandchildren; step-children, Sarah, Tim and Johnny Palek; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Victor J. Morris, Jr.; daughter, Angela Marie Morris; five brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at 1 p.m. at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy. Burial will follow in the Morris Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held fro 3-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, and two hours prior to the funeral service.
Military honors will be presented by the VFW Post #9926, Mason, W.Va. and American Legion Post #140 New Haven, W.Va.
