ANITA HAYNES Obituary

March 6, 1922 - June 19, 2016 MIDWEST CITY Anita Lois Haynes, the daughter of the Sid and Lucy Lethgo, was born March 6, 1922, in Altus, OK and passed away June 18, 2016, in Midwest City, OK at the age of 94 years. She was married to Albert Haynes in 1973 in Oklahoma until his death. Anita was a teacher for in Guthrie, OK til 1964 and later, Mid Del Schools, retiring in 1984 after 33 years. Anita enjoyed traveling with Joy Group, serving two terms as president; was a member of the Bereavement Committee at Meadowood for 20 years; worked at Masters Market; and Red Hat Club. Some of Anita's favorite scriptures include John 14:1-4, Psalm 23, and Psalm 139. She was a nice lady who made many friends in her life and has seen and lived through many things most of us can only imagine or see in history books; she lived it. She was generous with her time and a helping hand for others. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2016, 11 a.m. at Meadowood Baptist Church. Services are under the arrangement of Ford Funeral Service. Anita is survived by her son, Daniel Gorham, of Midwest City; her grandson, Chad Gorham, of Yukon, OK; her granddaughter, Dina Chrysler, of Azle, TX; her niece, Renita Haines, of Duncanville, TX; and her nephews, Lonnie Edwards, of Duncanville, TX; and Lynn Edwards, of Duncan, OK; also survivors include four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her son, Darryl Gorham; husband, Albert Haynes; her sisters, Ola Edwards, Geraldine Payton, and Eve Sue Dale; brother, Marin Lethgo; and parents, Sid and Lucy Lethgo.

Sorry for the loss of your mom & grandma she was a nice lady I meant her on hospital visitation, when her husband was in the hospital. Your in may prayers God's comfort to you in this time
