Jackie Shelton

July 22, 1937 - July 31, 2011 UNION CITY Jackie Dale Shelton, 74, of Union City, OK, left this world for his mansion in Heaven, after a short battle with cancer. He was born July 22, 1937 in Shady Point, OK to Noah Shelton and Lula Lee Winter-Shelton. Jackie proudly served our Country in the United States Navy. After his military service, he retired as a sheet metal worker at Tinker Field. He also worked as a truck driver and for Lucky Star Casino. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Shelby Jean, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He leaves precious memories with his wife, Suzie of the home; 3 daughters, Kris Shelton of the home, Cheryl Noel & Larry of Yukon, and Tania Miller & Pete of Yukon; 1 son, Mike Kennedy of Yukon; 2 brothers, Ronald Dean Shelton & Jay Shelton; 2 step-sons, Jay & Chan Maritt; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a large extended family and many special friends he worked with over the years. He will be missed by many loved ones. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 10:00AM Friday August 5, 2011 at New Dimensions Church (701 N. Cemetery Rd., Yukon, OK 73099). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lung Cancer Society or Hospice of Oklahoma County.
