I have known Jamie since the 3rd grade, when she came to Harvest Hills. One of the first memories I have of her was her puffy red coat and bright blue eager eyes. She became the only other girl in my PEAK class and we were together in that class for 6 years. When I think of Jamie, I remember how intelligent she was. She used to tell me the most obscure and unique facts and stories. Like, when we were at camp and there was a full moon, she told me about Inidan legend and tradition. How many 5th graders even retain that kind of knowledge? She had a crystal clear, pretty singing voice and an enigmatic quality about her that just made her so charming. She came to all my birthday parties, spent the night at my house frequently, and went to South Carolina with our 8th grade PEAK class. A large part of my childhood included a brilliant girl with a big grin, cerulean eyes, and for a time, blue green hair. I will always remember Jamie and her effortless and refreshing ability to stay so unique in a cookie cutter world. I am sure that wherever Jamie is now, she is glowing with excitement for something new and just waiting to share her stories to someone else who will be as fascinated with them as I was.

Kyle and I (Paige) will miss Jamie so much. She was a beautiful girl and very smart. The funeral was just beautiful. If your family needs anything we are here. Jamie will be missed!

How my heart aches at the loss of such a wonderful and lovely young lady.She was always so sensitive of others never saying an unkind word.In her short time here she brought such joy and fun to our lives. She loved her family and her friends.Jamie our family will hold your memories in our lives forever thank you for letting us enjoy your time here on earth. We are comforted in knowing we will hang out together again in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your daughter was very loved. We used to sing the Little Mermaid theme song everytime we saw each other. She was an awesome person and she will be very, very missed.

Words cannot express the sadness I feel as I reflect back on the few hours I spent around Jamie several years ago while vacationing in Oklahoma. For some reason, she bonded with me and captured a part of my heart in that brief time. She was such a loving and special child. I regret being so far away that I cannot be there. My prayers are with you in this difficult time. The only comfort is that the only one not grieving is Jamie, who is in a much better place than we are.
