Oklahoma City - Judith Ann (Allen) Smith passed away peacefully taking a nap on June 26, 2021 at the age of 75. Judy was born in Oklahoma City on January 31, 1946, to Hurley and Florene Allen. She graduated from NW Classen High School and continued on to earn her bachelor's and master's degrees from Oklahoma City University. Judy was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life Marty Smith on July 26, 1969. Judy was an elementary school teacher for many years before she decided to stay home and raise her children. She then became a CNA at Baptist Hospital, proudly working on the Labor and Delivery Unit for many years. Judy enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; gardening and sharing her produce, spending time with her beloved dogs, attending church and spending time with family and friends. Judy was an active member of Village Baptist Church for many years. She and Marty enjoyed hosting the youth group for meals, fellowship, or just plain fun, their home was always open. She most recently worshipped at Putnam City Baptist Church. As a faithful Christian, she loved the Lord and looked to serve Him every day. Judy is survived by her son, Paul and wife Stephanie Smith of Yukon, daughter, Amy and husband Michael Bateman of Edmond, grandchildren Braden, Lauren, Jackson, Thomas and Willow. She leaves many close friends and other family who will forever cherish her wonderful life and the impact she made. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Hurley and Florene and her husband Marty.
Respecting her final wishes, Judy did not want a funeral service. Details will be forthcoming where loved ones and friends can celebrate Judy's life.
